My hubby and I love escargo, but since we don't dine out very often our only option is to make them at home.

Now, I'm sure many of you would be saying YUCK and so do most of our friends, so a small can is more than we would eat at a meal. I don't want to throw them away either.

So, today we are having an appetizer type menu for dinner (Happy Birthday to me!) and there are slugs left over. What I did is use my 1 tbsp-ish size ice cube tray, put 1 in each opening and then poured the seasoning/butter mixture over top. I'm going to freeze them and then all I need to do is pull out the amount that I want on another night!
