These articles appeared in today's issue of The Tennessean which is the newspaper for Nashville, Tennessee and surrounding areas. Franklin is a city that is south of Nashville and is in Williamson County which is one of the wealthiest counties in the state. Guess it shows that no matter where you live alot of people are trying to save any way they can.

Thanks! I actually live 1.5 hrs south of Nashville (in Alabama), so we have all the same grocery stores (except for Harris Teeter). I don't coupon much b/c I usually buy store-brand stuff and shop at Aldis. But I do the Walgreens rebate thing, and I often wish I had newspaper coupons on top of that to actually earn $ on the free items. I also had no idea Kroger sold the Sunday paper later in the week for a cheaper price. I will have to check that out!

My 1 problem with coupons is that I always shop with my son, and it's hard enough keeping the shopping list from his hands or mouth. I have no idea how I would keep a file of coupons away from him.

My DS is 17 mo and I understand your dilema! I make my grocery list and then gather my coupons. I usually stash my coupons in the diaper bag so that he can't get to them. I also have a little binder that I keep coupons in and I keep that in the cart incase I find something else I want a coupon for. And since DS is strapped into the seat, he can't get to the binder either.
