:happy dance: Well after updating money we spent $431 on grocery's/food this month. This is really low for us. It is in part because I went of vacation with my mom and sis and my mom paid for just about everything.

Now the sad part we are in the red this last month by $90 which while not good is not too bad because we had a huge ($443) home improvement bill

more happy news I did my big costco shopping for the month and spent $130 coming $70 under my budget for costco.

Ok how are you all doing with your Goals?

Well, my goal for July was $200 and we spent $220. Close but this month I know I can do better (even with DDs birthday party next weekend).

My goal was $450 for the month and we were under by $20...not the best but for our first month with a budget...pretty good

I haven't checked my totals yet but will do so this weekend. But I wanted to say that this is one of the best things about this board because you ladies remind me to look at this stuff (and even if I don't post it) it helps keep me in line!

New month and I'm starting fresh. I'm going to buckle down and really pay attention to what I am spending!!!! So I'll let you know how well I do. I am off to Aldi's this morning, this is grocery week for me and I'm hitting them first, then when my grocery game list comes out tomorrow. I'll get ready for my trip to the store Monday for the rest to last me for 2 weeks. Wish me luck, that I don't throw in any temptation items !
