Sam's or Kwik Trip, Sam's is 3.09 for skim and 3.36 for whole (I'm not sure on the others because that is all I buy) Kwik trip is a little more, but much closer to my house. I used to buy the milk in a bag at Kwik Trip (it is cheaper than Sam's) but, I like the gallons so much better, but with prices going up, I may go back to the bags

Wow - some of these prices sound great to me. Our stores here range from about $3.69 to $3.99 a gallon for 1%. Food Lion runs a program once or twice a year where you buy 6 gallons and get the 7th free, so during that promo I only buy my milk there. The promotion usually lasts about 6-8 weeks and I get at least 2 gallons free each time. When they aren't doing the promo, I usually go to Walmart and pay about $3.69.

I buy some of my milk organic - $4.99 for a gallon, $2.99-$3.50 for a half gallon at a local organic grocery store called My Organic Market.

The rest of my milk (usually a gallon a week) I buy at BJ's. The price has recently gone up to $3.05 for a gallon of skim milk. Not long ago it was about $2.35 a gallon.

I go to two different Walmarts on a regular basis, and I was surprised to see that they charge differently. At one, 1% milk is about $2.70 and at the other it's closer to $3.00. This reminds me....
n my soapbox: What the heck is with the Walmart "rollback" pricing?? I'm about ready to call the manager and call him a liar (though somehow I don't think that would go over too well)! I have never seen those milk prices above what I just listed, but every time I go shopping, the sign on the case says something like Rollback! Was $3.26, Now $2.89!" No, it was never $3.26!! What gives??

I usually buy 1% milk at my last stop on my errand run. I have no idea what I pay. I do know that we pay less in the Midwest for milk than we did when we lived on the East Coast.

I live in Alaska and some of the prices that have been quoted seem crazy! I get mine at Safeway & the price just went up from $3.00 to $3.50 a gallon for any kind of milk. The milk from the local dairy runs about $4.50-$5 a gallon. We go through tons of milk, so whenever they are "short-dated" and are even cheaper, I've picked up milk as low as $1 a gallon (at Fred Meyer).

Well I made it up to Winco this week. They are a discount grocery and compete hard with Walmart. Milk was $2 a Gallon on Monday no coupons or sales just $2. I do really good shopping there but I don't like the store layout as much as I do Albertsons.

I LOVE WinnCo. I wish we had one nearby.

Anyway, I gotta ask some of the ladies again, what in the world is "Bagged Milk"?

$3.29 a half gallon for Organic Valley whole milk at the grocery store. If I go to Whole Foods I buy their organic store brand for $3.99 - $4.29 a gallon, but I hate their parking lot so I normally just go to the normal grocery store.
