Milk: Where do you buy it, and how much do you pay? Where I live, Sam's Club is usually the cheapest. We also have a convenience store we called Kwip Trip sells bagged milk pretty cheaply too. Where do you buy milk?

I buy the bagged milk at Kwik trip. It is $1.59 for a half gallon of skim. If I am at Sam's or Aldi's I buy the milk there. I think I paid $3.09 for a gallon at Sam's last week.

I buy it at CVS, its usually $3.89, this week its only $2.99. If I am at Sam's Club I buy it but Sam's Club is 20 miles away so I usually only shop there once a month.

BJ's is the cheapest around here $3.55 for a gallon of 2%. Almost a dollar cheaper than the grocery store.

If I get it from my little grocery store I pay $4.09 per gallon-whole milk. I believe 2% is .20 cheaper, at least it was last week. Last week, it was 2 gallons for $6 at Walmart-i think that was the price for all milk.

We are lucky and have a dairy here in our town. His prices just went up to $3.50 a gallon, but there's no tax so it's a pretty good price. But you wouldn't believe the taste, it's amazing how good fresh ice cold milk is. DS can drink the whole gallon the first day if i'd let him.

I went to the grocery store last night and paid $3.35 for a gallon of 1% and it about killed me. For years I have not paid more than $1.99 because CVS or RiteAid always had on sale. I guess those days are gone I overheard a young couple talking by the milk and he said geez looks like we should ask for a cow on our wedding registry

I have never seen bagged milk. Is it cheaper because of the packaging?

Yep, and you get a reusable plastic pitcher at Kwik Trip too (its free). You just put the entire bag in the pitcher and snip the corner off the bag to pour!
