If so, what do you buy there? It can be hit or miss, but I've found great deals on: cereal, jarred spaghetti sauce, toiletries, snacks, etc.

I will admit I am not a big dollar store fan, but if its a name brand and a good deal then I will sometimes make an exception! We now have a Dollar General here they do seem to better than others I have been to.

I sometimes buy the cereal if i am not able to get to Aldi's. I usually buy ketchup and mustard, pickle relishes,etc. at the dollar stores. Paper products and toilet paper (angel soft brand) are usually bought at the dollar stores also.

I shop Dollar General to buy the household items and few foods with coupons. On recent Sunday I shopped there and save almost $8.00 with the coupons. I don't shop at Dollar General very often unless any household items are on low and would go there to stock up more.

I actually like Family Dollar better than the true dollar stores. I buy a whole variety of crackers there!!! They are all $1 a box and taste just like the name brand ones.

The one food item I love to find at the dollar store is those 6 packs of raisins. Rarely one of the grocery stores will have them, but when I can find them I also buy a zillion!!

Me too. You can get really good deals at Dollar General with coupons. I got 2 Secrets and 1 Old Spice for $2.00 the other other day... we'll be smelling good cheap. I like Family Dollar but they don't take coupons so I don't go there often.

I very rarely shop at the Dollar Store. Usually only to pick up a single item of something that I think is cheaper. I have bought ketchup and peanuts before. I just don't go in there much because I end up buying stuff I really don't need..

I only have Dollar Tree in my little town. It is cheaper for nuts (mostly peanuts) and coffee filters. Most other items are cheaper in the grocery store on sale. They are often out of coffee filters, so I must not be the only one who figured out they are cheapest.
