Just curious if you have tried this. I am new to the board, so excuse me if this has been done!

It sounds like everyone on this board is working to save money on groceries and food, so I thought it might be fun and useful to share ideas this way.

Basically, we could each post our entire menu for the week (simply by naming the foods, not neccisarily sharing each recipe - if something looks good, then maybe we could ask that person to share the whole recipe with us) and then also post your shopping list for that week for all that would be needed to re-create the meals (maybe also include a list of "staples" needed that you aren't necessarily buying, but have at home and need for the meals). And then maybe also include the total cost of groceries bought?

It would be so nice to have a database, so to speak, of frugal meals and menus to share from! I would love to pop on here and print out a menu and grocery list in my price range, then head to the store and try someone elses ideas for a change!

Anyone up for this? Or have you tried it before and it would be too much work to post your menus and lists? It was just a thought that I thought would be kind of fun!
