I did my first Aldi's trip on Wednesday morning and I will definitaly be going back! My cart was literally overflowing, and I spent about $117, which should last us about two weeks. I purchased things like ground beef, chicken pot pies, pork tenderloin, frozen pizza, canned stew, sloppy joe sauce, canned chili, etc, these are all dinner ideas. I stocked up on cereal, My two children go through so much cereal, it flies out of this house. Oh, and I bought luncheon meats-turkey and ham, very very good. The only thing that my son and I didn't really care for was the sliced American cheese. But I saved so much money by going there. When my husband shops at Shop Rite, he spends close to $150 and comes home with only 4 bags, and it only lasts us a week!

I just got back from Aldi's. I bought almost all of my groceries for 1 week and I spent $28.53!!! I could not believe it! I got a giant bag of chicken leg quarters for $2.99, lettuce for 0.52, lunch meat for $1.49, spaghetti sauce for 0.99, spaghetti noodles for 0.90, pudding packs for $1.00 and peach cups for $1. I was soooooo excited. I'm used to going to Walmart and when the total comes up it's always between $60 and $70. Aldi's rocks!!!

Tomorrow is my monthly shopping day. I hit Aldi's first, then Sam's, then HyVee. Can't wait to see how low I can get my total!!
