This may sound like a crazy question considering I hear people talk about it all of the time, but what exactly is Aldi's? I hear everyone talking about it and how wonderful it is, but I have never even heard of it!
I wonder if there are any in Northern Colorado...

Their web site does tell you a lot about them. They have grocery items, but not a full grocery store. They sell their own brand but it is very good, as well as a few name brands. You bring your own bags, and bag your own food. I kept an old tissue box and I stuff grocery store plastic bags in it and bring it along with me. You put a quarter in the cart to unlock it and get your quarter back when you return it. These things keep the costs down.
