Thumbs up Money saving tip - Double the amount of frosting that comes in containers

Just put it into a big bowl and whip it using a hand blender or mixer, air will get into it and it will double in bulk. This is also the way companies sell their "whipped" products (which I dont buy because youre also buying air & less product)
By mixing your frosting youll save on having to buy another container, plus youll eat less of the frosting (less calories to consume) but youll still get the full flavor.

cool tip, thanks! i'll have to try this one sometime, i usually prefer "whipped" frostings over the thicker ones.

thanks for mentioning this! i almost bought whipped frosting yesterday...
we usually only use half the frosting for a cake anyways. too much frosting if you use a full jar. i remember scraping off a lot of frosting from my mom's homemade b-day cakes when i was younger, so this has helped.
