Do you buy a bundle package or part of a cow and freeze it? Do you have 1 meat free meal a week? Do you look at what's on sale that week and plan your meals around that?

I buy chicken breasts in the larger frozen bags. I get frozen orange roughy or salmon from Aldi's. When Fareway has a good sale on ground beef I buy a bunch of 1 lb packages and freeze them.

I've learned to stock up when on sale.
around here they don't go on sale sale very often.
this month it's been great!
*pork chops .99 lb
*tritip roast 1.99 lb
*pork loin 1.77 lb
*ground turkey BOBO (so, actually, 2lb (each pkg 1lb) for 3.59

So i stocked up like crazy!
plus, I don't serve huge amounts of meat.
for us, meat is part of the meal, but not the "main" part.
so, for example,
I did a roast on monday
tuesday had LO (made in tacos)
wednesday made soup &added the LO potatoes and meat in it.
thrusday I still have a little of the tritip left and DS wanted tacos again...so very easy.
*just me and my son, so with 3lb we ate almost all week.
that includes me taking for lunch to work.

LO: LEFT OVERS, LOL!
tri tip is a cut of meat. like a roast, not fatning, but not so lean that it's tough, it has a perfect amount of fat.
really good, but usually like $4 or so per pound!

My husband goes on a deep sea fishing trip once a year and loads up on tuna! We vacuum seal it and eat a lot of tuna. We leave in a small town so there are no good savings for meat.

We save by buying our meat reduced. It's usually half off, if not more, of the regular price.

We don't eat meat anymore. I have never been a big meat eater (something about the texture to me - makes me gag) but until more recently I did make it occasionally for DH and my boys. When we ate it, I bought in bulk at places like Sam's, I often bought pork instead of beef, and I cooked with the smallest possible portion, and then used "stretchers." Since DH decided he no longer wants meat either, I have noticed the cost difference, not huge, but still there.

A lady I work with raises cattle. In September I bought a 1/4 of a cow from her. After paying her for the meat and the butcher for the processing I ended up paying $1.78 per pound of meat. This included steaks, roasts and burger. Even when on sale I haven't been able to find ground beef for $1.78/lbs. I've not bought beef since September and probably won't have to again until mid-summer.
