Has anyone tried using Amazon for groceries? I was looking online, and they have free shipping for orders over $25. Everything they sell is in bulk, and the prices look good. It just feels weird to me to order groceries online... has anyone used Amazon for this?

We live in a third floor apartment, and I must say that I like the idea of someone *else* hauling the bulk items up the steps!

LOL I knew that King Soopers (Kroger) did home delivery but not Amazon. That would be a little strange. Definately worth looking into I would say if they are cheaper!!!

I would be interested to see if anyone has tried this to see what the feedback is.

I have ordered a few times when they've been doing the specials. I've bought bulk amount of Stacey's pita chips or bagel chips twice and I've bought thai stir fry twice. I've been happy each time. I can sit in my jammies, click a mouse, get them cheaper than in the store, and they're delivered to my front door. What's not to love?

The downside is you buy a case at a time. Even with my family of five that is an awful lot of food at once. I have used it for snacks we liked (and that had a discount special on that product) and some cleaning supplies. I don't think I would use it for every day items.

I buy my Red Star yeast from amazon (2lb package). It's so much cheaper than buying the envelopes at the store. I buy spices in bulk at Bulk Herbs, Bulk Spices and Herbal Teas - Monterey Bay Spice Company, which saves me a lot, too.
