I always make a double batch when I can (soups, stews, ziti, etc)

I make big batches of soups and freeze them.
On another note, when I am making pancakes, I make alot and freeze them. I also make them from scratch and when I am preparing the mix, I prepare 5 or 6 extra bags, write the wet ingredients on the bag and we have pancakes in a pinch.
I cook extra sausages and freeze them for quick breakfasts.

I always make 2 roasts at the same time.
We eat one for supper.
The 2nd I refrigerate to make sandwiches and beef with noodles for later in the week.
So I get 3-4 meals for us out of 1 meal!!!

yes i do...every time i use the crockpot( two to three times a week) i make enough for freezing...always good to have it tucked away...never know...
