Ok, so lots of us are going to be stock piling more and more. Especially on things like rice and flour. I am worried about buying food to stock pile and it going bad or getting bugs in it. I have a good size pantry that stays pretty cool winter and summer, but I am still worried about storing food. How do you all store foods (unopened) such as:

Flour
Sugar
Rice-boxes and bags
Any other foods

Flour, I store in the freezer. I have always done this.
Sugar, I put in a air tight container or plastic bag.
Not sure on the rice I have never stored it.

Freeze rice for 3 days to kill any weevil or insect eggs. The transfer to tightly secured jars, and store in cool place.

Brown rice is different than the white rice from storage point of view. Brown rice has oils that can quickly become rancid as they are oxidized. Preferably brown rice should be stored in the refrigerator.

I also freeze flour and I store bags of sugar it totes.
