Using one can of cake frosting and whipping it up lots, and you can frost 2 cakes! I made 2 cakes ( both 9x13 ) yesterday and frosted BOTH with one can of frosting by whipping it on the heavy duty mixer til it was fluffier.

I honestly think that it tasted better too, I am not fond of heavy sugary frosting.

So who ever thought of this thanks! you saved me $2!

I never thanked whoever it was either, but have done it and really liked it..I normally scrape the thick icing off....so thank you, too!

I have also mentioned it to a couple of people at the store if I see them comparing prices between the whipped and the regular store brand...they bought the store brand and thanked me for the tip.

I make my own icing, but I am going to have to try it and see if it works with that too. I don't really like the icing but I love the way it makes the cake look.
