I use cut up meat... Have you ever noticed that when you cook a steak you can eat 6 to 8 oz. But when you cut the same steak up in a stir fry it will be enough to feed up to 3 people??

I am going to start adding beans... Need to work on this one.

I make cookies and muffins for snacks when able.

Use as many veggies as I can.

Let my two year old eat off my plate.

Started to pre-cut my fussy son's bread before adding cheese or peanut butter and save pieces (crusts, etc.) for bread pudding, bread crumbs.

I use less ground beef than called for, I have never used more than 1 lb in a meal.

We eat our meals for lunches

If we have roast chicken, then we use the extra chicken for pot pie, quesadilla, etc. and then boil the bones to death and make chicken stock!!

If we have roasts or meatloaf, we find a way to reuse leftovers in another meal, tacos, or quesadillas, sandwiches, etc.

We are growing our own veggies this year, but otherwise, buy lots when on sale and freeze.
