What do you do with leftovers? Do you reheat them for lunch for supper the next day? Do you transform them into new meals? Do you have a "clean out the fridge" day during the week where all the leftovers are served?

dh takes them to work for lunches. if we have enough leftover it goes into the freezer and once a month they all come out and we have that for supper.so we have like a bit of this and a bit of that on our plates( our own smorgesboard).

we do all that really...sometimes we reheat, sometimes I'll let it ride a day or so to see what other leftovers we accumulate...but my favorite is trying to stretch it into a whole new meal .I love when dh and the kids love leftover day even more than they did the first time around...makes me feel like Ive really achieved.

Usually we eat it for lunch the next day. If there is alot left over we eat it for two dinners in a row. I know some people hate this, but we are okay with it.

I use them for lunches throughout the week and sometimes for dinner for the boys if dh is gone.

I try to make them into something else if I can. Otherwise, my husband will bring it to work the next day for lunch.

Me too!
If we have leftover chicken breasts...I'll slice them and add taco seasoning, and make chicken tacos....
Same with steaks...

We're not super big on leftovers and in the past I have thrown a lot out. So if I know we wont eat it (and most of the time DH says he will but doesnt which ticks me off) - both my mom and MIL live close by, so I can share with them and they'll have a meal. They both live alone so it works out great.
