I don't buy it either. It's one of those things I don't think we really need. However, my kids would disagree!

We buy the bulk powder. It is only made if my husband is riding his mountain bike on a hot day or has done a lot of work outside.

I buy it for DH who loves it. He packs his lunch for work each day and it is easy to throw into his cooler (and keeps him from drinking too much soda). I stock up when it's on sale. The cheapest i have seen it is 50 cents a bottle, but right now CVS has it for 77 cents a bottle so i have been able to work that into some of my deals there.

I never knew you could buy it in a powder...
My husband likes it for his softball games and when we're traveling in the car. I stock up on it when its a $1 a bottle. I'll have to to test out the powder on him and see if he notices I personally don't like the stuff.

My DH loves it. I stock up when it is on sale. He does not drink soda, tea, or coffee so i just figure that his gatorade a day equals my coffee, soda, tea for the day. He works hard so it is a good treat for him.

I Would Love to Buy the Powder.
But They All like a Different Flavor So Here is a Case that I actually Waste Money When Buying ONE Flavor, Cause it sits around For Months and Months.
I also Buy when it is on Sale and I Buy Grape , Orange Fruit Punch and lemon - lime.

Gatorade's advertisers really did well targeting men! My DH likes it too. We buy a case of the lemon lime, orange, and red (?can't remember flavor) at BJ's. DH only drinks it when sick or outside in extreme heat (he believes the advertisements) so it lasts a long time. I admit I have craved it when sick this winter too - only in orange and red.

I didn't know it came in powdered form either. Will have to look.

My kids and dh like it a lot. I only like the grape and even than I am not a big fan. Too salty or something for me. I did buy a big jug of Tang and Country time lemonade (powered) at Sam's club just for the summer. I will may get some powdered Gatorade as well. The kids have their own bottles for drinks so we will keep those filled up with drinks for the kids. That way they can be put back into the fridge and I dont have to worry about anything getting spilled.

I hate to say it, but I think the powered kind is nasty tasting. We buy the bottled...I know...roll your eyes. I can take it!
