I continuously stockpile too. Whenever I see a good deal on something we regularly use I will buy several. I keep my eyes open for things like peanut butter, oatmeal packets (here in Hawaii they are $4 for a box of 10!), canned veges and sugar on sale. Being military I know when we will leave for our next duty station and when the time starts getting close we cut way back and use as much of our stash as we can. The military will ship unopened food like cans and boxes though, and I've even put flour, sugar and cornmeal into glad storage containers and they have packed and moved them too. Right now my stockpile is a little too big thanks to neighbors moving and donating to me, so I will be using it and only buying milk, eggs and bread.
