What items do you buy on a regular basis at dollar tree and 99 cent store? What things are nice quality and what would you never buy again?

dollar tree store has baby wash made by the same company that makes baby magic.. at half the price.

I picked up organic blueberries at 99 cent store the other day. Bought enough to freeze for the winter. They also have gerber baby bottles.. BPA free for 99 cents.

-greeting cards, 2 for a $1
-gift bags
-hand soap( I love the coconut one and just refill my bathroom container. Noone knows the difference)
-toothpaste. We buy close up and they sell it 2 for a $1 and its the regular size tube
-mouthwash and dental floss
-some snacks
-coloring books- they always have good ones with characters and my son goes through these like crazy
-balloons for birthday parties
-I've found alot of decent picture frames there as well
-craft stuff

Things I don't like. I hate their shampoo and conditioner. It was like jelly. And their lightbulbs last no time.

I buy solid b-day plates, napkins, and table cloths there. I do the character cakes but do solid plates and it works out well.

At the 99 cent store I buy

banannas (3lbs)
yougart
peppers
cucumbers

alot of times the 99 cent store has reynolds wrap and suave shampoo there too.

At the dollar store I will buy:
bread
greeting cards
party decor
coloring books
the Sunday paper

What I will no longer buy:
lunch cakes (smaller packages so actually more expensive)
comet/ ajax (cheaper at Walmart)
tooth paste (can get for free using coupons)
toothbrushes (can get for free using coupons)

That's all that is coming to mind!

I buy mainly birthday goodies and school supplies for myself. Global school brand supplies are as good as name brand ones.

Movie Theater Box candy, children's books/coloring books, pool "noodles," plastic plates, gift bags, stocking stuffers (as long as they are not metal)

At dollar tree I buy most of my picture frames.
I've bought scrapping supplies and have seen the same EXACT thing at Hobby Lobby for $4.

I have a small cutting board from there, I use it a lot and have had it for more than 5yrs.
