How do you save money on sunscreen?

-Do you buy new every year or do you use it up from last year if there is no expiration date?
-Do you stick with one brand or do you look for sales and coupons?

Skimommy-

Where do you buy Blue Lizard sunscreen? I see Amazon.com and Walgreens online has it-just wondering if you bought it in a store or online? Thanks!

It depends on where I can find it. If you find it, stock up. Last year it was sold out everywhere I checked in the middle of summer. I bought the last batch from drugstore.com. They have the small tubes at CVS, I buy those if I can't find anything else. I haven't been able to find the large bottles. We go through a lot of it.

i read an in depth consumer review site last year, and they said that the CVS brand with Zinc was hands down the best protection amongst store brands, so we buy that one now--plus it's comparitively cheap!

I don't know that I ever really 'save' on it...I just buy what we like each year. We don't typically have any left over from the previous summer.

I have been using No Ad sunscreen for years and have not gotten burned. It is not advertised (hence the name) so it's cheaper than name brands. It goes all the way up to 60SPF. You can find it al Walmart, a large bottle is around $5-$6. It also comes in Sport, which holds up better to swimming and sweating, and it works!

I save mine from year to year unless it is expired. Last year it went bad (separated), despite the future expiration date. I called the company and they sent me coupons for two free bottles, so we're still just using our free sunscreen.

I've purchased No-Ad, store brands, and name brands that I buy at Costco when they have coupons. We keep a stock of it year round. Different family members have different preferences, but all I care about is that we wear it!
