I've heard of people cutting them in half. I use the whole thing, but take them out of the dryer and put them in the box. They get a good 3 or 4 uses out of them. I've noticed the bounce ones last longer than the off-name ones. DH is picky about how his clothes smell!

I've also heard of using fabric softer(the liquid type) on a wash cloth and throwing it in with your clothes. Has anyone tried this?

What do you do?

I don't use them either. My husband came into our marriage with some, and I took half a box from my grandma's house when she died. I cut them in half and/or used them more than once. Now we just do without.

Isnt it stactic-y up north? I shock everything if we dont use them!!! If DH wants something and I can find a coupon for it and get a great deal, I dont mind getting them. I dont use the fabric softer for the wash so this kinda makes up for it...i guess LOL

I use Downy (dh is allergic to others), and I buy it when I have a coupon. I cut them in half or thirds.

I do the liquid with a drop (about 2tsp) in the corner of the washcloth, Two drops in my DH's clothes.
(My liquid also has about 1/2-1 cup of water added)

I soak a washcloth in fabric softner ( I have used Snuggle and Downy). Ring it out and let it dry.
I wil re-use the same washcloth/dryer sheet up to 10 times before I need to repeat the process

Wow! That alot of usage! Are you(and Sam) finding this saves money over buying the sheets? The bounce ones were like 7$ I still have a half a box left and got it a few months ago!

Absolutely!
You figure that you get a 50 Fl. Oz bottle of Snuggle for $4. You use less than 1 Oz to soak your wash cloth. If you use that same wash cloth 10 times... You get around 500 uses out of 1 bottle of fabric softner.

Recently I bought a bottle of Downy at Costco that was $7 for 1.1 gallons....Imagine how much I can get out of that!
