I'm in northern NH, so we get extremely hot summers and extremely cold winters. And about 3 pleasant months in the whole year We have an 1100 sq foot late 60s prefab ranch that is horribly inefficient as far as windows and insulation goes.
We have a well, a septic/leachfield, and no curbside garbage pickup - so we have no costs for water itself, no costs for sewage, and $1/year dump permit for trash
Our electric bill is consistently about $80-$90 a month all year. All of our appliances are electric including water heater, range, and dryer. And our water costs are just associated with running our water pump.
We have propane that we use strictly for heating. We keep that off as long as possible, and then keep the thermostat at about 60. Last heating season (approx late September to late March) our cost was about $1200
