I haven't actually paid for toilet paper since last July. How? I've bought toilet paper at grocery stores when there's a sale and I use coupons that double. Twice I've had my DH buy it at Kroger with $.50 coupons that double to $1 and the sale was 10 4-packs for $10... he bought 26 the first time and 19 the second time. Then, I hit a sale at Giant Eagle - same deal, 10 4-packs for $10 and had coupons that doubled making them free. I buy extra newspapers and lots of people save them for me too... that's how I have so many. Saves a lot of money. We have 4 kids.

I would love to go to cloth, but haven't been able to get Himself on board with the idea. He has some chronic GI issues that result in our going through a lot of toilet paper. So I buy 7th Generation. It doesn't save money, but it does save trees.

I buy on sale and step on the roll before I put it on the spindle so the kids don't pull it and a flow of toilet paper comes down.

I buy it when it is on sale and if we need it and it is not on sale we buy it Walmart...usually the Angel Soft is the cheapest for us. DH won't let me buy generic, he has to have soft.
