What are some things that you refuse to pay for? What's the saying? Something that you couldn't pay me to buy. I think that is how it goes.

I thought it might be fun to see somethings that we're not willing to buy.

- For me ... frozen mac-n-cheese! You can buy a box for $0.59. And have left overs to take to work with you. Why would pay $2.75 for the frozen stuff. Beyond me.

- Fur coat. I don't wear fur. It's not really my style to begin with but, even if it was, I have seen some beautiful fake fur coats that would work just as well and not involve some animals death for the only purpose of using its fur.
- Minute Rice (is that what it is called?). I love my regular cooked rice.

And that currently is all that I can think of. What are yours?

I buy that rice since my rice never comes out right.


I wouldn't pay for a handy man or lawn service when dh can do it.

I also wouldn't pay for someone to cut my dog's hair or shampoo him. We do all that.

This was the first thing I thought of. We had to pay for our lawn when we were on vacation - OUCH!

I wouldn't pay for anything I can do myself, whether it's work around the house, or something I could make (like clothes for Maggie- I copied a $10 paid of candy corn leggings from Gymboree for $1.50).

There's a lot of prepackaged food I wouldn't buy.

I have many things I wouldnt pay for. Some include frozen pastas, boxed mashed potatoes,jarred gravy, or anything I can easily make myself. There is so many others, but my mind went blank.

I would never pay for make up or fingernail polish, they are useless IMO.
I would never pay someone to wash my dogs (unless it was my kids)
I would never pay for a manicure or pedicure.
I would never pay for a designer purse.
I would never pay someone to paint my walls.

I would never pay for somebody to cut buddy's nail.

I would never pay for somebody to shampoo buddy.

I would never pay anyone to mow my yard.

I would never pay anyone to wash my car, unless it was a charity group that was raising money for a worthy cause.

I would never pay anyone to landscape my yard, since I love to plant and arrange things myself.

I would never pay any one to decorate my house, since I love doing that myself.
