Do you keep an Emergency First Aid kit in your home/Auto?

I have a homemade first aid kit I keep in my bathroom and when we go camping I drag it along. I need to clean it up and update it though. I keep band-aids, first aid salve, antacids, poison ivy lotions, tylenol, ace bandage, midol, hand sanitizer, before we go camping I add tampons, wipes, and perscription medicine. I am sure I am missing something but you can customize it to you needs.

(Since a flu kit was mentioned I thought I would ask about a first aid kit)

I don't have a kit at home, but I have all the basics in my medicine cabinet, easy to find - aspirin, Benadryl, Ivy Dry, band-aids, ace bandages, ice pack, heating pad, scissors, gauze, tape, tweezers, cotton balls, q-tips, witch hazel, rubbing alcohol, peroxide.

Himself and I both carry kits in our cars, along with a blanket and flares.

I have a kit in my car and I have had to use it many times - not usually for my own kids. We've pulled it out at ball games and at the park, and I'm always surprised how many people don't have one. My friend with four boys doesn't even have one - if I had four boys I would probably carry one on my person at all times - LOL!

I don't have a first aid kit at home, but I have everything that would be in one, just in our medicine cabinets.

I do have one in my car...it came with the car.

I keep everything ( band-aids, first aid salve, peroxide, poison ivy lotions, ace bandage, hand sanitizer) all in a pencil box where everyone can reach it. Prescription drugs or OTC drugs are kept high up in the kitchen cupboards. Even I have to get a chair to get them.
