There is no mail delivery in town. We have a PO Box, but the post office is less than a five minute walk from our house. I like it because I don't have to wait for the mail to arrive like we did when we had a mailbox.

It comes to our house - actually every house has a mail box and I feel so guilty for the amount of money that is being wasted. In Seattle, the mails for our subdivision were all in one place.

Like OP, our Fed Ex and USPS packages are generally just left on our front porch.

Right out the front door just to the end of the driveway.

Ours is at the end of our (short) driveway, but I think it's weird when I drive through the newer neighborhood near the school and no one has a mail box...they have to get their mail at those big multi mailbox things like in an apartment, just spread throughout the neighborhood.
If I just paid more than 250K for my new house I would want my own mailbox!

Any bank statements, subscriptions, packages or anything that may have value to it like christmas cards or birthday cards go to the post box.
Bills can go to the house.
We had to do it that way as one of our neighbours son is a druggie and has been caught before going through someones post to find anything of value in it.
