Me..dh would let it pile to the ceiling if it were left up to him. He will take the big can down to the end of our road on trash day though.

I think I take it outside more often when the can is full (but I am also the one using it more when I cook, etc, so I notice it more often). My boys will usually take it down to the curb for me on garbage night, unless I don't remember until after bed - then DH does it. Nobody is really "responsible" for it - it just gets done.

We all take turns.

i have to wait until its light out so the neighbourhood skunk will not get me. he/she waddles down our sidewalk( between the condos) on the way back to the hole as it starts to get light out. better me then the kids( dh leaves too early in the morning to put it at the curb or the neighbourhood critters would get into it).

DS does. That is one of his main chores.

I like to say dh but more often than not, I take it out.
I do all the household chores anyway.

When the 10 yo is here, it's his job. Trash & recycling. Out it goes in his hot, little 10 yo hands!

Trash to the can, either Dh or myself- whoever is the one to getthat last pice of trash on top to fill it

Trash to curb is usually DH, but DS (7) loves to help so sometimes it is him (it is a rolling can).
