Keep a winter themed picture up during the summer? It's a print and while I don't have a problem with the spring one with flowers up during the winter (cheers me up) ... I cannot imagine that winter one up during the summer. Is it just me or would you change it?

I don't change the artwork in my house. Once something goes up on the wall, it stays there.

I would change it!

This typically is how I am.

But I think, in this case, I'm going to have to find something to replace it with.

I never change my pictures. The ones I have are my favorites so they stay up year round.

I will not change it - for the past 3 months I've been trying to get DH put up a painting, so if I ask him to change it, it will take another 3 months and by then winter would be already there.

This also could be my problem. I should also add that DH picked out this picture. Maybe that is the problem, not the seasonal difference ... maybe I just don't like it!

My MIL used to change all of the pictures in her house to match the season. It drove FIL nuts so he made her get rid of a bunch of her pictures. She still won't put pictures of the kids out all year if they have anything Christmasy in them. We have to make sure to do a picture with a plain background for her. When I did DD's first Christmas picture I picked a snowy background and to this day MIL only puts that picture out in the living room after Thanksgiving. It stays in her room the rest of the year.
