How much do you spend on Halloween Candy? Do you feel like you have to buy enough Candy for the whole neighborhood or do you buy a few bags and when you run out you just turn off your light?

$0, we live on a back street and all the houses are fairly far away from each other. I bought candy the first 3 years we lived here when I didn’t have kids to bring around, or when they were too young and hubby and I just ate way too much candy because we didn’t get a single trick-or-treater. So now I don’t buy any. All the kids in the neighborhood go into the trailer parks or the more ‘townish’ areas to get candy. So now I just bring the kids into my parents neighborhood on the street where I grew up instead.

I just figured this up the other day and it was around $50! This does include candy for DS' preschool Halloween party and one bag for 'admission' to our church's Trunk or Treat. The rest though is for ToTs- we always get at least 100 kids and I am thinking it may be more this year with it falling on a Saturday.

Between what I buy for work and what I buy for the kids, about $40. But I buy the good stuff.

I would say that I probably will spend $30. Like some of the others have said, that includes candy for my son's class.. I try to get the candy that is BOGO, so that helps keep the price down. I do grab a bag of our favorite kind as well, but this year I can't seem to find it.

This is our 2nd Halloween here, but last year, I think about 60 or so kids came through.

I've already spent over $50 but that includes what we've been snacking on, candy to give out on Halloween, candy to give out at Truck or Treat, candy to pass out to the senior citizens at the nursing home, and many, many gift bags for school, preschool and dance for the three kids.

We live in a subdivision where everyone comes to trick or treat. Last year we passed out candy to 319 kids (yes, we counted). I just bought halloween candy yesterday and spent $103.89.

In the past, we've spent $35-$40. We're scaling back a bit this year though, and keeping it in the $20 range, including treats for DD's school and a party DS is going to.
