Default Verizon is DOUBLING their early termination fees

I agree with you...maybe one day the govt will look into these fees just as they do with exhorbitant credit card companies and bank fees. But that'll take about 10 years + for anything, if ever, to happen.

the whole thing with cell phones are you SIGN A contract to get the free phone. I think this will just make more people buy phone and do month to month service that you could cancel at anytime.

As for the credit card thing there are other issues there that don't even compair to a cel phone contract that you READ and sign and that is what it is.
