In the colder months I do. I dont have anyone to crawl in them now, unless the kitty got curious lol. I only leave it open a couple inches though.

I use too but right now mine are too little. I wouldn't worry so much about them crawling in ... it would be more about them falling on top of it.

I do if they kids are not up. I open the dishwasher on the dry cycle and let all that hot steamy air out as well. that warms it up as well.

Yes, in the cool months I do but not all the way open. My door stays propped open a few inches on its own but I only do it if 2 yo DD is not near.

Do you not find that this affects the quality of your dry cycle? I do not use the heat option and have noticed that if I let the heat escape it causes the dishes to dry not as nicely.

I never leave the oven door open because of the cats. They are super nosy and would try to get in it even if it was only open a couple of inches.
