To let out the heat?

I sometimes do if DS is in bed or else he tries to climb in...not good! But its a good way to use the extra heat as the oven cools down!

Yes. I figured it was common sense to let the heat out when you need it.

yep, all the time drives the hubby nuts

I totally do in the spring/fall/winter. Ours is a wall oven though, so I don't have to worry about anyone crawling in

Sometimes I do, depends on the time of year. My dd3s bedroom is right off the kitchen, so if I'm baking early in the morning I'll leave it open so the warmth can creep into her room. Our house was built in 1957 so it can get cold in there!
