Other than framed prints or posters, what do you fill your walls up with? I love new ideas so I thought I'd share mine and hopefully get some more in return!

I'll post photos as soon as I have a free hour to properly resize and upload to photobucket...
I'm big on architectural pieces: one wall in my living room has a faux-iron gate that I made with my rotozip saw and fashioned after lusting over similar ones in Ballard Designs catalog (no way was I going to spend $200!). Another wall has salvaged ceiling tin pieces mounted on painted MDF. I also mounted a single, circular, ornate ceiling grate salvaged from a demolished house. A wall in my dining room has a mirror I made from a screen-door window and molding then faux finished to look like burled walnut, and another has an antique drawer front complete with glass knobs grouped with more ceiling tin.
I'm still looking for a place to put a metal arrow that once belonged on a weathervane... Over something I suppose, but I don't know what.
My mom has these neat corbels she's going to screw together back to back...that one is really hard to explain, but whenever she does it I'll post a photo.

Design on a Dime.......on HGTV channel always has neat ideas in their Trash to Treasure segment of the show. I have seen old windows hung on walls and also an old screen door with neat little decorate scrolls in each corner, the screen was removed and they made it into a mirror, just using the door frame and scrolls as the frame for the mirror. A row of old glass door handles were screwed into an antiqued piece of wood and used as a coat hanger.

awww, shucks You're so kind! To be perfectly honest, I want to wait until my couch cushions are finished at the upholstery shop so that the photo looks a little better. My dad recovered an antique couch for me but doesn't have a machine for sewing cushions anymore so I'm not-so-patiently waiting for them from a lady who is notoriously sloooooooowwwwww.

FIND A PASSAGE OR A QUOTE THAT MEANS SOMETHING TO YOU AND PAINT IT ON THE WALL. IN THE FAMILY ROOM I WROTE: MAY OUR HOME KNOW JOY, EACH ROOM HOLD LAUGHTER, AND EVERY WINDOW OPEN TO GREAT POSSIBILITIES.
tHIS CAN COST NOTHING IF YOU HAVE SOME OLD PAINT.

I have shelves with glassware, some of my grandmother's and great-grandmother's platters/plates, sconces, and pictures of the kids. I also have a plaque of Establishment with our wedding date. I want more decor on the walls, though.
