I found this funny little gadget at wally world in the hunting and fishing area. It is made by Smiths and it looks like a yellow hand grip. You can use this to sharpen scissors, knives, etc. It is so easy to use. I love it. It is only about 9 dollars, but it has saved my knives. It only takes about 10 strokes and your knife is sharp.

All my knives have teeth. You can't use a sharpener with these kind right?

Also to keep knives sharper ..... if you have a woodblock where you put the knives and the slots are vertical .... put the knives in upside down that way you do not dull your knives every time you remove it.

I sharpen my knives on the bottom of a stoneware mug. Just turn it over and cross the knives over the bottom edge several times at an angle, and they come out sharp.
