I often use Clorox wipes in the bathroom for quick cleanup. After using the last wipe I realized that there is a fair amount of liquid cleaning solution remaining in the container. I took the cover off, and inserted thick paper towels on end. The towels soaked up the liquid. When I remove the pape rtowel, I give it a little squeeze to save any excess liquid. Its great, I haven't had to purchase a new container for a couple of weeks.

That's a great idea! I use the Method wipes. I've never looked to see if they have liquid left. I'll check it out next time.

I do this, but I don't ever have any cleaning liquid left, so I use my own cleaners in it.. Works great! and much cheaper!

Just a thought - can you just add a small mixture of bleach and water to the bottom of the container?

I would only worry about the bleach b/c its fumes are toxic if mixed with ammonia. I can't remember if there is ammonia in clorox wipes though.

What about putting vinegar/water into the container with papertowels? I have been wanting to try making my own because I love the easy use of wipes around kids vs. spraying something around them and worrying about any over spray.

I was just wondering about this the other day! I go thru these so much! I was wondering if I could take some Select-A-Size type paper towels (cut in half and with the tube removed). I was thinking of doing a combo of vinegar & water! Anyone do this??? Anyone think it'll work??? I'm excited to try now!
