Oh..that stinks!! I'll look around the next time I go into town and see if there is anything that compares to them.

I love your quote about the typos...I should have that too!

I was going to say "shower caps" too.

Thanks for the tip ryans_mom 10!! I'll look for them the next time I go to the Dollar Store!

I was just thinking shower caps would be a good substitute for the Quick Covers since they look the same! The cake Tupperware, upside down is a good idea too.

I was just wondering if the shower caps would have any chemical coating on them? The Quick Covers were made for covering food, but the shower curtains wouldn't be made with food safety in mind, KWIM.

use your grocery bag and stretch out the handles slide plate in and tie squeezing any air out. or you can get a dinner plate with lid that's microwaveable and use this only for him every evening. I got mine at family dollar for 2.oo.It makes it nice to store up his food. I can have the kitchen cleaned up before he gets home.

I use a lot of Corning and Pyrex dishes for storing leftovers. Sometimes it is as easy as putting a plate upside down on the dinner plate.

I just use another dinner plate or a corning ware lid. I am constantly washing dishes anyway.

Yesterday at Dollar Tree I thought of this thread when I saw a microwavable divded plate (one half size compartment, two quarter sized comparments) with a snap on lid.
