I just did it. You have to squeeze in the sides of the cap, as it has a locking mechanism as part of it, but it does come unscrewed and screws back on tight.

I just filled mine with my leftover spray shower cleaner and after that is gone I will rinse it out and just use vinegar in there.

I was glad to find out that I can refill it with my own stuff, because buying the refills all the time is expensive.
