Ours is Laura Ashley with a Celtic kick, wooden floors, and a country style kitchen covers it.
I have lots of antique family bits from pictures and prints that are over 100 years old, to old Waterford and some modern Irish Pottery Pieces that mix well in the kitchen.
I have quirky pieces I love to throw in to the mix, a favourite print for instanance in my kitchen is that of a nude lady well thats the impression its supposed to give but its made entirely of vegetables!!!
I also have a vase that is made of unglazed porcelain but looks like a brown paper grocery bag complete with creases and bulges. It always catches people who are new to our home, whenI plonk a bunch of flowers in it, it looks like a bunch of flowers I havent got round to arranging it yet. It usually raises smile when people see it.
