What theme/ decor do you have in your childrens room?
For my son I did the vintage cowboy look. ( and if i could figure out how to post a picture i would of his room!)
I tend to like "old" things vs new everyone has it type of decor. That's just me and my house- my friends did her little girls room in Sponge Bob and it looks cute, yellow but cute!
What about you ladies?

In Abby's rooms, we did pink (turned out like Pepto Bismol) with white trim and a hugs & kisses border on one wall. We just got her new white furniture so it all matches. Other then that, no theme really.

In the baby's room, we did a lighter pastel pink with white trim and a heart/flower border. The furniture we got for her room is also white and the crib set is Blossom Bear (from Blue Jean Teddy).

I went w/ sir leaps a lot for my babe - figured it could go boy or girl (it's really sir leaps a lot and lady lavender!)... and the room is painted light green (if I have a girl next I want to paint the room lavender!)

PS - no this isn't his room - it's the advertisement pic for the bedroom theme... I don't have most of that stuff - just the bedding and paintings.

We just moved so we havent really done anything w/ the kids rooms yet but my cousin loves to draw and paint and is extremely good at it. He said that since he is moving back to Washington soon he will paint the kids rooms for us. My son wants trains and my daughter wants horses and princesses so we will see how it turns out.

Emily's(14 yrs) room---She has a vintage black walnut day bed, the materials she chose were---black and beige toile print comforter, curtains, and lamps,,then she mixed in some powder pink accessories and a matching pink throw. It is beautiful, she is going to be a designer I think!

Ethan(11) chose an antique patriotic room. His quilt is a mix of different red, white, and blue printed material. He has all sorts of Americana type wall hangings and pictures. Even his door and wall hooks match. He's very proud of his room--he even keeps it cleaned!

DS is 20 months old and I still have yet to paint/decorate his room. Life happened I suppose! We had Noah's ark for the theme, and my MIL bought a beautiful wallpaper border for it, but now he's into cars, trucks, airplanes, tractors, trains.. anything that has wheels and moves! So I'm still contemplating. I think I will end up doing the vehicles theme because he'll be in a toddler bed soon and I think he'll want a car bed.. which would look kinda strange with Noah's Ark everywhere else. Plus, he's just not into animals anymore..
I'm going to project pictures of vehicles onto the walls and paint them in. Probably hang an airplane or two from the ceiling over his bed. But I'm still trying to think of the color I want on the walls. I guess if the cars thing doesn't work out, I can always paint over it right?!

Teenage daugter has a style all her own..we won't even go there!! The boys share a room, but we gave them their own space to do with what they want. Twelve year old was Star Wars, but is leaning more towards just primary colors for now...afraid he is hitting the teen stuff! Five year old has automobiles..it is SO easy to accomodate..big boy but still little boy, too. They share a LARGE room so it is pretty easy to make it all look good..especially since it is all primary colors. Ten year old daughter has her own room...pink with patchwork girly quilt and all wicker furniture. She loves it. Both little girls share a room...they are only 16 months apart. We did pink and lilac ballerinas with all white furniture. PRECIOUS. Their room is by far my favorite. When it is clean (!), I like to just go sit in there. It is SO sweet.
