I wish we could start getting ready, but it's still in the 90's here as well. I remember last year that dd never got to wear her long sleeve Halloween t-shirt! I have already gone through and had her try on pants so I know what we need, but we won't need them for a few more months!!

As a matter of fact, I've never bought dd a heavy winter coat! There are only a few days a year that we need them and because they don't fit in the car seat with coats on, you spend more time in the cold putting them on than just running from the car into the house! We mostly wear layers with a sweat jacket or sweater on top! She's never even worn mittens!

Hey, Lou-

I lived for years in OK (Stillwater and Tulsa), and your post made me laugh. That is so true about the weather! I miss the weather out there... it was always pretty exciting and never half way.

NO WAY!!!! We will have summer here for at least another month and a half if not longer. We have had Christmas days that we can wear short sleeved shirts!!!! You may say How Lucky, but we rarely ever get snow, and that's no fun. We just aren't equipped to handle snow in the winter for very long. EVERYTHING closes, including roads, and it's a real mess. But it's really nice to get a good snow just so you remember it, and it would be nice for the kids to have a snow memory!!!!! I am looking forward to cooler weather!!!!
