Default Are you switching to Winter?

Today I brought out the boxes after boxes of winter ski gear and put away the wakeboards and life jackets.

Winter will come on fast and furious here.

Are you switching yet? Are you thinking about winter? And where are my DS's ski boots?

Winter is still far off here- September is really still summer in disguise. Last year I remember putting the kids in the pool at the end of Sept. because it was so hot. In October I will put out some long pants, in November I will put away most but not all of the shorts and t-shirts. Ah- life in the south!

In south Louisiana "winter" starts around Thanksgiving. It's not unusal to have the AC on for Christmas.

Still 90 degrees here today so no winter clothes for a while. It can start getting chilly in early/mid September so we'll gradually get out a few long sleeve shirts and jackets that fit. My DS hasn't worn pants since May so most in his closet probably don't fit anymore!

Yes, I'm thinking about it. The breezes are a bit cooler off the lake the last few days, and something about how the sun shines is more like fall around here. This morning I got up and it's 67 degrees in the house! Burr! I'm not ready for winter, but it's coming.

Nope, not for a few more months...We'll start cooling off next month I hope (said with fingers crossed!) , but winter isn't really until Thanksgiving, if then even!

I'm in Hutchinson. We gage the weather around the Fair - 1/2 the time its 95 degrees and the other 1/2 its 60 so you never know what September will bring!

Where are you from 4littlesmiths??
