DD has one in her closet. *She loves it. *It works great on helping her be more independent and getting herself dressed. *She also enjoys helping me fill it and pick out her clothes. *Now if I could just get her out of bed in the mornings *
We did this too untill about a month ago. now the girls insist on picking out there own outfits but it worked great for over a year.

I put all outfits together in a grocery bag and then put the bags in his armiore'. We have shirts, shorts, underwear and socks all matched up and ready.

I did this for when we all worked FT. The school had a waterproof bag to send wet things back home in.

Now, I just try to keep outfits ready for about 5 days.

Thanks! Nick doesn't match himself, he just knows what is comfy. I could so do this & put it on the inside of his closet door & no one would have to know

for toddler age kids, another thing that works is get 7 gallon ziploc bags and label them Monday-Sunday *then place a shirt, shorts, socks and underclothes if they are potty trained in each one. they can SEE what they are picking out and the bags can be used over and over.... the zipper seal kind is best for little hands.

In our home...with 4 girls....they have this hanging basket-like organizer from Ikea...they stick what they are going to wear for the next day.
I hate the fuss when start making a mess in thier closet or dresser. It seems my 4 dd are messy ppl...ugh. I know I wasn't like that when I was growing... oh wait...I was the only girl :D

Great idea -- I also use the over-closet-rod compartments.

Default Getting ready for winter

Today I went thru several storage boxes and got the clothes out that my DS will need to wear this winter. I also went thru his dresser and pulled out all the pants and clothes that don't fit him now. I have done over 8 loads of laundry as I had to do all the linens from the camper and house. Big company week.

So, I have empty boxes ready for the shorts and short sleeve shirts to go into and the winter clothes are in the drawers ready for when the weather changes.

Our summer is over so fast here and winter comes on hard so I thought rather than wait till next month and be in a huge hurry, I would take today and get DS's clothes ready now.

One more load of laundry and I am finished!

Now what to do with the three boxes of size 2t and 24 months?

Do you all have any ideas for elementary age and preschool? ( nd these children are boys) I would like to have outfits together for them to wear and all they have to do is put them one. We do have any doors that would work in their rooms. One thing I have them do is put their laundry away now their dressers are total chaos!!! What now? I was planning on doing their clothes tmorrow getting ready for school.
Help me!!
Lisa
