I just wanted to share this...it works for us in saving time picking out outfits for my 3 and 2 year old. I bought a shoe rack that hangs on the back of their bedroom door for $12 at Target. It has 12 pockets on one side and 12 on the other. I put 6 shirts and 6 shorts for each boy in their side. That way we always have 6 complete outfits for them ready to go. Its so handy to just look on the back of the door and see whats ready and clean. Hope that helps! Erin

Wow that is a great idea is this something you have to put a hole in the door to do.We live in apartment and we are limited to holes in the walls or anything.

Another suggestion if the over the door won't fit. My doors never close. they have the ones you can hang over your closet rod - for like sweaters, belts, lingerie that type of thing. I am thinking of doing this this fall - hopefully it will make cj a little more independent at getting dressed.

Nope, no holes in the walls, we live in an apartment too. Its just little hooks that go over the top of the door. I got it at target for $12. Erin

This is an Awsome Idea!! Thanks!! My 2yo is just starting to dress himself. He pulls everything out of his dresser looking for what he wants to wear. This way, I can keep the bulk of his clothes in my room, and just give him a few day's worth, individually wrapped. This will save me from picking up all his clothes every day, and having to do more laundry, since the clean clothes always get thrown back in his hamper somehow.

DD has one in her closet. She loves it. It works great on helping her be more independent and getting herself dressed. She also enjoys helping me fill it and pick out her clothes. Now if I could just get her out of bed in the mornings

Great idea! Perfect for my dh. I love that he helps dress the kids, but, you know, being a guy we get stripes with polka dots, that type of thing. Drives me crazy. This is my solution!

This would help my dh when I ask him to dress the kids! He is always claiming that he "doesn't know where I keep the kids clothes" (which drawer etc). So, I still have to go and pick out the clothes for them to wear. This way, Rod would know but so would Jared and eventually Maggie. Too cool! Thanks so much!!
