Saving money on teeth whiteners

Don't buy expensive teeth whiteners. Use 1/4 teaspoon each of baking soda and salt. Add enough hydrogen peroxide to make a paste, then brush!

Thanks! I can't use the whiteners they sell in the store, they are too harsh.
I think this will work well for me though!

I agree with them being harsh. My friend used one of those whitening strips and it made her gums blister! I haven't tried them because of that!

Great tip! Thanks. My orthodontist told me to do this when I had braces, back in HS, so that teeth wouldn't be unevenly colored after the braces came off.

This is the only way I whiten my teeth! My dad was a dentist (he retired last year) and he told all of his patients to use baking soda and a small amount of h. p. he'd never reccomend the over the counter whiteners, he saw too many patients of his come in with burnt gums and pain from using them!
You gave a great tip!!! Too many people now days use these products...they cost too much and even though they do work SOMETIMES, they can do more damage than good!
