I do this monthly at my local Walgreens store. Plus at this store you can use their coupons & manufacturers coupons together. Ive never not been paid for their rebates (as other company rebates can take months to get, this only takes a few weeks) They send you a postcard to let you know when your card has been reloaded and how much was put on it, plus you get an additional 10% for reloading your card/getting paid back with a giftcard, rather a check.
I "recycle" this money monthly on rebate items that appeal to me. So its like Im not even spending anything to get those items.

What "card" do you use to load with the rebated money? Is it a Walgreens card or do you just use your debit card? I love shopping at Walgreens, but haven't heard of this program. Thanks!

Thanks for the info! I am doing this for the first time this month. I wasn't sure whether to get the cash or card.

Rite-Aid also has a great rebate program. They only offer checks, but you can submit the rebates online, which is very easy. They always have good free after rebate items!

Long's Drug also has rebates, but I don't have any of those around me.

You get a Walgreens card. I like to just use the card each month to buy more rebate items. My mom, however, likes to save her rebate gift card for Christmas. My lil sis got a sweet digi camera this year that Mom paid for completely with the rebate gift card!!

I use my judgement...I get a check if it's under $10 rebate, if its over, I get the card for the extra 10%....

What sort of items do they have for the rebate? I've never really looked in there, i've gone a couple times. Do you get an ad in the paper with the specials/rebates or do you just go into the store??

Thanks! I was wondering about the rebates and was going to ask the checker next time I was in Riteaid. I purchased a rebate item there last month and got no info, so wondered how the rebate was collected. I just signed up for both Riteaid's and Walgreen's rebate programs. I guess they do not tell you about these programs unless you ask.
