Just found in Real Simple mag ...
Apply 1 cup mayo mixed w/ 1 tspn vanilla (to cut mayonnaise scent) to dry, unwashed hair. Cover head w/ warm towel to help mayo penetrate. Leave on for 20 mins. Before stepping into shower, apply shampoo to hair. Don't add water yet; massage in thoroughly for several minutes to help break down excess oil. Rinse w/ cool water in shower.

Ive done this before and never will do it again. The mayo smell wouldnt get out of my hair for days, even after excessive washing.
