When do you drag out all your Halloween decorations & how long do you leave it all up? Do you go all out or do just a little? Halloween specific or fall decorations in general?

With this possible move looming, I'm not sure I'm going to get out my fall decorations.

Halloween decorations go up Oct.1st. They come down that weekend after Halloween usually.

As soon as I smell that autumn smell in the air I put up my Fall decoration. I put up my Halloween stuff in october.

I normally put up my halloween stuff about the first week in Oct.

I usually put out my fall stuff the week after Labor Day, Halloween stuff goes up sometime before Halloween, although I have a feeling this year, we'll be going "all out".

October 1st. I'm still paranoid from last year. I had the decorations up and then, BAM hurricane Wilma. I had to take them down. 26 years of perfectly normal Halloweens (except the one year it was actually cancelled due to encephalitis) and I'm traumatized by the one that "got away". Ugh, we had a party planned and everything! *tantrum*

Mid October. Too bad Halloween is on a Tuesday, I hate that - not many kids are out. hmmmm

I dont go all out, just one time I did. I just get a pumpkin and my son and I carve it, put out a few decorations.
I take down my decorations the next day.

I usually drag all of my Halloween stuff out on the first or second day of October. I take it down on November 1.

First week of October is the goal! I take stuff down Nov 1st. Pumpkins will be carved about 2 weeks (maybe week and a half) before Halloween (trying the WD-40 trick to keep it from going bad too soon, this year!)

Have you been in the Spotlight yet?

I put mine out Oct. 1st.....Halloween is Riley's birthday, so we go all out. We don't do anything scary, but we have pumpkin lights for our bushes in the front, decorations for the house, and we will all go to the pumpkin farm and pick out a "boy pumpkin" and a "girl pumpkin"!! We have a family competion on our pumpkin cuttin' each year, boys against girls!!!
