I am having a hard time getting spots in my shower to come clean. I am wondering does the coating on it wear away? I am not looking for saving money but cleaning advice. I have tried several different cleaners and sponges but none seem to be working. It is almost like the dirt is melting into the material. Granted it could just be that stuck.

I would appreciate any tips on how to get this clean.

I'm sorry I have no advice for cleaning it. But I have heard once you have it cleaned, use car wax on thr whole shower and it'll keep it that way.

I JUST asked this very question to my neighbor yesterday and she told me that her mom suggested to her to use baking soda and vingegar. You let it sit for a minute or so and the scum came off with very little scrubbing. I haven't tried it yet but her shower doors are like mine (frosted glass) and she said they sparkled when she cleaned them this way

The bottom of my shower has this texture to it that is impossible to get clean and it always looks dirty. I clean it with a paste of baking soda and dish washing liquid and it gets all the dirt out and shines, atleast it does when I get around to doing it

What kind of material is in your shower? That may make a difference. I've also had good luck cleaning with vinegar and baking soda. I also really like Tub & Tile, made my Melaleuca. It's great for keeping the grout in my tile surround looking nice and white!

Have you tried the Mr. Clean Eraser? I know they have the new one out too with a scrubbing side. It may work.

I have tried the Mr. Clean eraser and it seems to leave a residue behind JMO. My advice because it sounds like you may have a tub like mine, use some kind of grainy cleanser like comet, or those scrub cleaners not sure of the name i tried Kaboo ultra scrub recently, and pour some on the tub/shower directly and use one of those GREEN scrubbers the kind without the sponge attached and good ol' elbow grease to scrub. It may take a couple of times and you have to rinse really well but It works wonders. My tub gleams when I have done this and it can get really gray sometimes. Dawn also works between scrubs to get some of the soap scum. For the tile on the wall and shower doors I use scrubbing bubbles. I spray it on and leave it for a while and then just rinse it really works to make it shine.

Here I have found the MR Clean Magic Reach to work really well - the tub rings, water spots nad dirt from the kids bathroom comes up with no trouble.
