Borax contains boric acid. You can find it with the laundy supplies. I mix 1/4 cup of sugar with 1/4 cup of water and 1 T. boric acid. Stir it up and place it where the ants are.

It could take a few days for the terro ant bait to work. How long ago did you put it down? Are they in the house? Did you find where theyre getting in?

It's been 3 weeks since we first put the poison down. They slowed down a bit after about a week and we thought we were good, but now they are back full force. Sigh.

The poison scares me...we have kids and pets and ... I just hate poison

I put the corn meal down...I just put the regular kind...I hope it works.

They are coming in under the door that leads to our deck. Maybe another place too, but I saw them coming in under the door. Cayenne pepper didn't work, chalk didn't work, baby powder didn't work...UGH UGH UGH.
